One of the tricks I’ve learned to help me be romantic is to keep a few funny romance cards in my briefcase. I also keep a mushy one or two because they seem to have an even bigger impact. I will occasionally pop a card in the mail for no reason other than the fact that I’m thinking about Joy and want her to know she’s on my mind.

Valentine’s Day is coming which is the perfect time for sending cards to your sweetie. To make it more special try remailing it. Huh? you may be asking ‘What’s remailing?’

There are certain cities that provide a service where you send them your card in a pre-addressed and stamped envelope which is in a larger envelope. They open the larger envelope, take out the smaller one and ‘Remail’ it. Of course that means a new cancellation mark and a card postmarked from Loveland or Valentine is special.

There are seven Lovelands in the U.S. There are six Valentines. Loveland Colorado and Valentine Nebraska both provide a remailing service along with many other holiday named towns. Information and links for Loveland nd Valentine are provided below.

Note that this is a FREE service! Pick up a card or two and Remail them. Your sweetie will be glad you did!
